VOTE FOR THE CCSD
Educators for Excellence
We are seasoned educators who have decades of expertise, as well as deep ties to the CCSD community. We chose to call Clarkstown home for the exceptional school district and want to do everything we can to maintain and enhance the quality of our district, supporting educators, staff, families, and most importantly all students. We believe that, no matter our differences, when CCSD has the strength of the community and the BOE behind it, our students will thrive and reach their full potential in school and beyond.
Our Pledge:
Increasing Academic Opportunities:
Continuously strive to enhance the academic programs and opportunities available to students of all abilities. This may involve expanding course offerings, implementing innovative teaching methods, and providing additional resources to facilitate learning for students.
College and Career Readiness:
Ensure our graduates have the academic foundation, tools, and resources they need to succeed in today’s world–no matter their career path.
Supporting Teachers and Administrators:
Facilitate the necessary resources, training, and support for our teachers and administrators to excel in their roles. Recognize their dedication and provide avenues for professional development to continually improve teaching practices.
Fostering a Safe and Inclusive Environment:
Implement policies and initiatives that promote inclusivity, and safety within the school community. Create an atmosphere where all students feel valued, respected, and supported regardless of their backgrounds or identities.
Infrastructure Upgrades:
Apply a collaborative and fiscally responsible approach to infrastructure upgrades that are desperately needed district wide.
By prioritizing these actions, school trustees can contribute to the development of a dynamic and thriving educational environment that empowers all students to succeed.
